How to Close All Incognito Tabs
Chrome on Android shows a persistent Close all Incognito tabs notification whenever Incognito tabs are open — tapping it is the fastest way to close them all at once. Every other platform has a one-step equivalent, listed below. Closing every Incognito tab ends the private session and deletes its cookies and history from your device.
On Android (Chrome)
- Pull down the notification shade and tap Close all Incognito tabs in the Chrome notification.
- Or tap the tab switcher, swipe to the Incognito pane, open the ⋮ menu, and choose Close Incognito tabs.
The notification is there so you can end the session without unlocking Chrome first — it disappears on its own once no Incognito tabs are left.
On iPhone (Chrome)
